Our first project under the RED DUCK PICTURES title was Atonement.  This was to be a feature-length film.  Unfortunately, this project was never produced.  Our lead actor quit just after the trailer was shot.  Nearly all of the casting, location scouting, and pre-production was done.  We have put this project on hiatus.

The Story

    Atonement is a story about a lawyer who loses his wife, almost loses his daughter, then dies himself.  The main character, Sean Turner, comes back to Earth to fulfill what he believes is his God-given duty.  A young man named Luke Madden (Pallotta) has an ability to see into the supernatural realm, which enables him to see Sean.  Sean believes his job on Earth is to help Luke through his problems.  Luke's girlfriend (Cevasco) believes he has a form of paranoid schizophrenia and forces him to see a psychiatrist (LaRue).  Through helping Luke Madden, Sean confronts some issues and people (Tiller and Maletic) from his own life.  In the midst their friendship, nobody believes Luke has any supernatural ability.  Not even his best friend (Pappas).  A twist of plot and turn of events lead Sean and Luke into a situation they never imagined.
