Haley Litzinger was born in July of 1982, in Akron, Ohio. As a
child, she found herself outlining lips and reshaping eyes in
newspaper and magazine articles. Her talents in art began to
blossom through her early years in school. Haley became
inspired by the way makeup has the ability to change the structure
of the face and body, and began doing theater makeup in high school
and creating Halloween masks each year. Her ambition in makeup
led her into the Art program at Kent State University.
Haley worked at the Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory as a
Special-Effects makeup artist after high school. She designed
and airbrushed the characters of Dracula, Mad Scientists, the
Electric-chair Man, and other gory effects within the haunted house.
In her mid-college career, she began work at Estee Lauder in
Columbus, Ohio, as a makeup artist and skincare consultant.
She attended the Brown Aveda Institute to pursue a career as an
esthetician, and is presently acquiring a manager's license at the
Akron Beauty School, with a specialty in makeup.
Haley is currently finishing her Bachelor's degree at
Kent State University in Fine and Professional Arts with a
concentration in drawing/mixed media. She is working at
Sephora in Beachwood, Ohio, as the skincare expert and makeup
artist.
