Red Duck Pictures is the
movie label that has been created for the independent films produced by Matt Pallotta. Red Duck is reasonably new, with
our first finished production wrapped up in late 2005, Imperfections.
We began shooting the first project under the Red Duck title in early 2004. The project was named Atonement. The trailer was shot and nearly all pre-production was finished. A product never came out of, though, due to the loss of our lead actor. The project was put on hiatus. The idea for Imperfections came around in the following months. We were
very successful in beginning and finishing this project.
We tackle productions that are generally written, directed and produced by
Matt Pallotta. Each project so far has had several co-producers, a full crew and cast, make-up artists, musical composers, technical advisors, lighting directors, grips, and many more of the delegations a real Hollywood film would have. We're starting at the ground floor, hoping to work our way to the top. Each project is a learning tool, which helps us to produce material that exceeds the prior.

Matt Pallotta - Director/Producer
I was born in December of 1981 in Akron, Ohio. I began to take an interest in video at an early age. Through grade school and up on through high school, I played around with a video camera, teaching myself basic tools and techniques to create videos that would slightly impress my family and fellow peers. Every chance I had to use a video for a school project I would tap into my creative side to try to learn a new trick and impress my teachers. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always responded: A director!
Over the years, the videos have become more professional and technical. Red Duck Pictures is the first working title that will produce material that I will be able to show professionals and mass audiences, with assurance that it is of professional quality. With much hope, this is merely the start to a long and successful road within the realm of production.
