Mike Maletic, born in Cleveland, and now living in Akron, has been
in love with cinema since a very early age. For the past few years,
he has been involved with writing, acting and directing productions
for the stage and screen.
He
received his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies from Kent State
University in 2003. While in college, he focused primarily on
directing for the theatre and for film. He directed the plays
Toons and Pitching to the Star, and
directed, edited and produced his first feature-length film,
Toaster while at Kent. He also performed onstage in the plays
Grave Epic, Revenge Comedy and Stop/Kiss.
Lies in the Reflection will
be the second time he has worked with Red Duck Pictures and will
give him another chance to perform in front of the cameras, which he
enjoys almost as much as directing. Almost. He’s not sure
yet.
