Marcia Mandell has lived in the Cleveland area all her life and
has been performing on stage since she was in elementary school.
Marcia studied theater at Cleveland State University, and has
continued to study acting with local theater artists, predominantly
Thomas Q. Fulton, Jr., for many years. She feels you can never stop
honing your craft.
Marcia has performed at theaters throughout Northeast Ohio,
including Actors’ Summit, Beck, Dobama, Cleveland Public Theater,
Clague Playhouse, Berea Summer Theater, Karamu, Willoughby Fine
Arts, Solon Center for the Arts, Maple Leaf Theater, Lakeland
Performing Arts Center, Cassidy Theater, JCC Halle Theater, Red Hen,
Cain Park, Chagrin Valley Little Theater, Phoenix Theater Ensemble,
CSU and Tri-C. She spent a number of years promoting downtown
Cleveland, when working for the Greater Cleveland Growth
Association, including her role as director of downtown activities
of the organization for 12 years. Ten years ago, she formed her own
special events company, however, much of her business continues to
focus on marketing Cleveland, particularly downtown, for her
clients.
Marcia has done commercials, industrials and some film. She is
delighted to be working with Red Duck Pictures and its talented
director, producers, cast and crew in bringing Lies in the
Reflection to the screen.
The
only thing that supersedes Marcia’s passion for theater is her
family. She feels very lucky to count her husband, Larry,
three children and their spouses, plus six fabulous grandchildren,
as her most treasured gifts.
